Tuesday, August 2, 2011 We the officers, firefighters, EMS and support (social) members of the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Co. want to extend our warmest and most sincere thanks to our brothers and sisters in the fire and EMS service that assisted us this past week at the Nico's Polymer fire on Bangor Rd.  The call for help went out to several surrounding counties in Pennsylvania and NJ and you all answered our call in tremendous fashion!  The support that we received was fantastic and we'll never be able to thank all of you enough! 

 
We would also like to thank all the local businesses, restaurants and individual residents that took the time and money to donate food and drinks to the personnel on the fire ground.  Because of the amount of time spent on scene as well as the heat and humidity we wouldn't have lasted without those donations.  Thank you!  
 
North Penn Good Will and the Red Cross also did a wonderful job of providing relief and food to those on scene.  Thank you!
 
We'd like to extend our thanks to our Northampton County 911 Center and Emergency Management staff, you all did a great job assisting our officers in coordinating incoming equipment and personnel as well as making sure there was coverage in areas that had moved equipment and personnel to the fire ground.  Your efforts are very much appreciated!
 
Finally, thanks to the man upstairs for watching over all of us as we were able to move all this equipment and personnel, fight this fire and no one was seriously hurt.  A job well done by all.  Thanks again!
